INDIA ON SALE(PART 1 and PART 2), a book dedicated to Rajiv Bhai Dixit and written by Bharat Somal unravels the secrets of this world in today's time of Globalization and International commerce along with many facts about the undeveloped world –particularly India. This book reveals the truth about the advanced –so called developed, nations so thoroughly that one could clearly see human mind behind their actions excellently. The simple fact that after World War II (WW-II) all the nations of the world agreed to form an organization -called United Nations Organization (UNO), with a single objective of establishing peace on this earth by stop fighting wars in the future. The United States of America (USA) had been very gracious in generously offering a piece of their own Land in the New York City to establish its World Headquarters. The devastations done by the nuclear bombs used by the USA in Japan -Hiroshima and Nagasaki, which ended the WW-II moved all sensible nations of the world to agree to stop wars thenceforth. Were the wars ended after October 24, 1945? Why were Korean war, Vietnam war, Middle East war, Iraq-Iran war, India Pakistan war, India-China war, etc. occurred? The book reveals how the world economy is geared to the wars. How and why the World Bank, International Monitoring Fund (IMF), UNICEF, Word Trade Organizations (WTO) and treaties like General Agreement on Tariffs and Trades (GATT), etc. were established and who were served or benefited by these. The simple fact that when all humans more or less equally need space to occupy, air to breath, heat from the Sun, water to drink and food to eat and all these are provided in abundance freely why the economics and trade can't be fair and straight between nations? Why Indian rupee was tied to British Pound since 1926 (as 13.33INR equal to One Pound-sterling), simply because India was slave of British? Why was it pegged to US Dollar in 1966 (as 7.8INR equal to One US dollar)? Why did it now slide down to 67INR? When you read this book you will get the answers to many of these questions.
Bharat Somal has put this book together in an excellent manner showing the readers the relation between politics and economics. The value of money over value of living human being? The exploitation of man by man for the sake of dead money could be realized. How and why the physical slavery gave way to economic slavery in the world? The very misconception that money is the mighty god replaced human values and God in human when the Bible says in Genesis, "The God made the man in HIS own image." The book has been an excellent presentation of thoughts, ideas and insight of Rajiv Bhai Dixit and Bharat ji Somal. Their readers will find many valuable information while cruising through this book.
I had the privilege and honor to review this book thoroughly and edit it for the ease of reading and substantiating facts. I can simply thank the author for his insight of human mind and this world –especially about the world trades, economics, exploitation of natural resources of this planet and human desire of supremacy to rule the world. Perhaps one can say, "The might is right –may that might be of atom bombs, chemical weapons, money or natural resources or the simple ego." In olden days they used to say "The Law of Jungle" when a lion used to kill wolf and wolf dog, dog a cat, cat a mouse; and now the modern world says "Survival of the fittest" the stronger and rich countries rule the weak and poor countries. There is a hope that good and right education will give way to wisdom and the man will learn to know the TRUTH.
