Playing outside, a young boy, Jack, witnesses a brutal murder.

A man is beaten in the head with a sledge-hammer and then run over.

He faints and is soon discovered near the victim.

Robbie Duncan, a private detective, realizes that Jack is a key witness.

And more evidence is thrown up when a watch is found by the body.

Duncan immediately starts investigating, but before long he finds one of the suspects dead.
