Sexual content. Adult audience only. This is book 1 in the space/Earth opera series.

Laurel is a creative young woman who had a line of disastrous relationships. When her boss molests her, she leaves her lucrative job, in CA, to branch out on her own in Texas. Stopping at a roadside diner, in a sparsely populated area, she spots a man leaping out of a tree from a height of thirty feet. Without regard to herself she darts across the highway to provide assistance.

Only he is not a man. Slotan is an alien sent to Earth with his seven brothers. Their mission is to gather information, and honored guests, then return to their home planet. Their society and Earth's society are very far apart on the spectrum.

Slotan regards this human female as inferior, and treats her as such, but feels duty bound to help her since she was misguided enough to believe he needed help. Taking her to his ship, he plans on returning her after cleaning her up from the larvae infested puddle she landed in face down, give her a physical to pinpoint and correct her coordination problems, and perform a brain scan to find out why she is acting so irrational and chaotic. Laurel allows him to think she is inferior as she maps out various scenarios to escape. Once she is cleaned up, things become complicated. Laurel is angry because despite all, she finds the commander the most sexually compelling being she has ever come across.

She becomes determined to make him pay for his holier-than-thou attitude, and drives him crazy. Wanting to know if alien sex is all that the romance novels depict, she is resolute in getting her pound of alien flesh before she leaves. She seduces him, and gives him an encounter he had never dreamed of. She is left sexually empty, frustrated, disappointed, and wanting to create a bonfire using her alien romance novels. Laurel uses her wits to trick his brothers into giving her the means to return to Earth.

Can she outrun his brothers who are upset over her deceit and try to retrieve her before the commander discovers her missing?

Laurel's adventure provides a lot of laughs, sexual scenes, sexual frustration, clashing of cultures, danger, heartbreak, communication difficulties, and playful erotic sex. Will her sexual fantasies finally be filled by one self-absorbed sexy commander, or by his warrior-healer brother who also wants her, or by the two or three cowboys she has fantasized about for years, and intends on lassoing when she returns to Texas?
