What would you do when faced with Fate? Eddy Pilgrim has no clue. He graduates high-school a valedictorian with a plan: go to college, excel academically, secure a solid job, sit down and write masterpiece. But when his town's Independence Day celebration goes awry his existence is thrown into question.
Muses, Fate's legendary servants, appear to tell him that his book is destined to be of generational importance, a veritable pillar in Literature for centuries to come; however there is a rival group of Muses, ready to fight with tooth, claw, joints, and whatever else is necessary to exert their own influence.
This is Eddy's story, his struggle, his quest to find out what is truly Meant To Be.
