Beginning at 1980s, many Chinese young students came to the United States with different dreams and hopes. They were far away from their homes, families and friends, struggled for surviving and development in a foreign country. In China, going aboard was like a big wave in the ocean.

She, Chen Shuang, a newly graduate medical student, came to the USA in 1990, carried only a suitcase and a dream, her trail was full of mysteries and obstacles, and the road in front of her was foggy until she met him.

1990, was the 10th year for him living in the USA. He, Chicheng, after overcame many difficulties, received the Ph.D degree. The future road in front of him seemed clearer and easier until he met her, his new dream started to tangle with hers ever since.
