Edward Stratemeyer (1862-1930) was American businessman and writer. He was one of founders of book-packaging technique based on using of work of multiple freelance authors and used it for his own enterprise, Stratemeyer Syndicate. This was a great contribution to forming of children's fiction genre.
To Alaska for gold is children's novel by Edward Stratemayer. The narrative follows two boys from Mayne who fell victims to the Gold Rush that shook entire United States. Together with their uncle and accompanied by some of his fellow miners, they ventured north, to sunny California and further to cold Alaska.
