In her book I Can't Believe That Was Me...oh, yes I can and it still is, Lauren Taylor provides a decision process summarizing each chapter to illustrate how choices made, or not made, impact a life for decades to come. The book, although largely autobiographical, begins with a tongue in cheek history lesson establishing the culture from which she came and delves briefly into her childhood wherein one can glimpse the development of her rather unique personality. From there Lauren laughs along with the reader as she chronicles the "off the wall" events that occurred as her life unfolded.

The real Lauren has grown into an independent, mature woman who has completed her corporate experience and is now consulting on her own. Her motivation in writing this book was two fold, first to provide a comical yet learning experience using her life to illustrate how choices in life have impact but are survivable. Secondly, the book provided her a catharsis as she moved through the culmination of her second "Saturn Returns" and entered what is most likely her third and final phase of life.
