The Mantras I Repeat

I do not like exercising! Actually, that is not quite true. I hate exercising! For many years I was frustrated with the fact that I was required to "keep fit" as part of my job in the British Army. I would fail my fitness test - have to do some extra (supervised) exercise and then retake it, only to repeat the formula 6 months later. During my career I worked with many people, all of whom delivered me their words of wisdom on how I could improve my life, fitness and weight control. All of those words are included here along with my personal experience of why I still run at least three times per week.
