Abe Lincoln's Anecdotes and Stories

Abraham Lincoln was the 16th President of the United States; he served from March 1861 until his assassination in April 1865. He came through the bloodiest Civil War and its greatest moral, constitutional, and political crisis. He preserved the Union, abolished slavery, modernized the economy and strengthened the federal government.
In this book there are some letters and speeches about many different spheres of life from taxes and education. There was even one letter about courting a woman and another had advice for lawyers. The author mostly discussed slavery. He brought up the Dred Scott decision repeatedly, which stated that people of African descent that were imported to the USA would never be patrial or be protected by the Constitution.
