Tessie Mercer knows for a fact that Susie Brooks is one bossy third grade girl. When Tessie and her friends, Elle Holden, Danielle "Dani" Albers, and Kathy Spencer receive invitations to Susie's birthday party, they go but they must endure Bossy Boots Susie.
