"It's not much to ask," Garrett said. "We got you out of your car, brought you here, kept you warm. Caleb even bandaged you up, made sure you weren't seriously hurt."

Caleb did? she thought as she passed a hand over her bandaged forearm. He'd seemed the most upset about her presence in the cabin.

"So how do I get you to trust me?" she asked. Her stomach tightened before she finished her sentence. The low-grade excitement inside her took on a new heat.

Brandon looked at the other three men and then at her. Like Rob's had earlier, his eyes flashed yellow. "How would you like to show us you're trustworthy? I can tell you have something in mind that excites you."
