The Wicked Stepmother

Tibetian fairy-tales reflected thew wisdom of the Tibetian people and belongs to the heritage of one of the oldest cultures. Many of these tales have a sacred core as they tell us of the creation of the world, the origin of various natural forces, of the afterlife as Tibetians see it according to their Buddhist-driven beliefs.

This story tells us about a king named Genchog. His wife died at the same moment his son, Nyema, was born. This boy was destined to inherit the throne... but he got a brother born by his new stepmother. Which of the boys would become the king?
