Over 80% of the problems facing many Christians today can easily be traced back to the lack of capability to hear God well.
In this book, I look at the importance of developing the capacity to hear God well and how all born again Christians can develop this capacity. This book looks at why hearing God clearly is not an 'all or nothing' issue but something that - through making deliberate effort - we can all grow into.
More than ever, God desires that His children develop the capacity to hear Him clearly. When we develop that capacity, then our fellowship with Him becomes more meaningful and fulfilling.
Based on my experience and personal fasting/prayer retreats, I have outlined in this book, the important steps that every Christian needs to put to practice continuously, if they are to have a powerful encounter and fellowship with God.
When God revealed himself to me as a strategic planner during one of my prayer and retreat sessions in December 2014, I wrote my first Christian book 'Goal Setting for Today's Christian' where God revealed himself to me in a flood of thoughts likening Himself to a CEO who carries the Vision of the entire world. As CEO, He has appointed directors, managers and workers in His vineyard to carry His vision. As a free enterpriser, God has invested talents in each one of these and expects return on His investment.
After writing the book 'Goal Setting For Today's Christian', I realized that as a CEO, God requires that each one of us report our progress to Him directly on how much we have developed the talents and gifts he has invested in us. This is so that He can usher us into the next level of our assignment as contained in His blueprint for our lives.
If God expects each one of us to go back to him periodically to report progress, then it means that we must desire to develop the capability to hear him clearly, if we are not just going to wade through life 'hitting and missing'.
