Caelum

Skye Alexander, one of only a few humans remaining among an alien race. Losing his father a month after being born in an attack against a military facility Skye and his mother found refuge, if not acceptance, with a group of aliens calling themselves the Shard. The story unfolds as Skye who is now 16, is sent on a mission to offer an alliance between the Shard and the Humans still on the planet. He arrives at the human base, only to find that their hatred for the Shard is almost as large as the Shard\'s distaste for them. What follows is the story of how two races are united against a common enemy by a human with a foot in each world.
