One Night of Miracles is a fictional tale that takes place during the most wonderful time of year: Christmas. Bill and Abby Curtiss, married for over 30 years, share with you their Christmas spirit and traditions. Though they don’t have any kids of their own, one of the things they most enjoy doing, especially at Christmas, is giving gifts to children.
One of Bill’s favorite things to do is make things in his workshop. During Christmastime, he goes to work like a little elf in Santa’s workshop. He makes gifts for kids and their families, while Abby cooks up delicious meals and tasty treats in the main house.
On Christmas Eve, the snow begins to fall heavily in the small town where they live, and their church service is cancelled. When Abby hears Christmas carols being sung in the distance, she looks out the window for carolers. What she sees instead is far beyond any of her wildest dreams.
Eight deer and an open sleigh are perched on the new fallen snow. Out of his workshop walks her husband, his dress bearing an eerie similarity to that of Santa Claus. Just for this evening, Bill Curtiss fills in for Santa Claus himself and takes off in the sleigh.
