This collection of stories, by and about inmates, is now available in digital book form by A.A. World Services, Inc. What is it like to get sober and to be sober in prison? Countless men and women have experienced sobriety behind the walls; these are some of their stories. The first edition of this book contained stories that originally appeared in the Grapevine, A.A.'s international monthly magazine. In this updated edition, new stories have been added--some from Grapevine and others sent directly to A.A.W.S. from members. In this book, inmates give personal accounts of the miracle of recovery. Each found freedom and hope from alcoholism's devastating effects through the program of Alcoholics Anonymous.
