Searching Arcania

The world of Arcania, a planet much like Earth was, during it's Cretaceous period. Since it's discovery, it's become home to the Arcanon Research Facility. The bio-engineers there have artificially evolved thousands of mammals to a humanoid state. They then created villages for the evolved, and taught them how to survive.

The research was going as planned, until one day. A nano virus escaped, killing the humans, leaving the evolved behind.
Time passes, knowledge of humans becomes but a memory, their existence mere myth. The evolved live on, unaffected by the virus, forgotten by the rest of the universe.
Deep inside the abandoned research facility, three have survived.
Without memories of his own, and a companion who cannot speak, a single human wanders out into this world to see if he can find more of his kind.
A quest to find humans. A journey of discovery.
