To Break A Curse

Brianna Covington had lost her father when she was very young and shortly after she lost her mother to an industry accident at the Swanson Mill Textile factory. She grew up in the Swanson Mill orphanage where she learned the value of dedication, hard work and sacrifice. She was turning eighteen and she had two choices, marry one of the beaus in town or go to work as a servant in a wealthy household. As she did not fancy any of the local boys in town she felt that taking on a job was her only choice. So as she waved goodbye to her best friend and to the only home she had ever known, Lord Windham's carriage carried her further and further away. She was confident in her abilities, Mrs. Carter had taught her well. She felt she was ready for any task her new employer could ask of her but nothing could have prepared her for the devilish handsome man that awaited her or the passion he would ignite within her.

Lord Windham had waited for her for what seem like forever when he finally located the one girl he thought could surely save them all. His plan was well thought out and he had prepared his entire household for her arrival. However, he wasn't prepared for her beauty or for the way she would capture his heart.
