The Road To Exile

This is a true story of an illegal immigrant. This immigrant escaped the ravages of a declining Ottoman Empire in 1922. Instead of climbing over a fence from Mexico, this individual came to America by "jumping ship". Mustafa Ataturk, the new leader of Turkey proclaimed that Turkey is for the Arabs, and all others were forced to leave the country or die. This immigrant made his way to the US and, like all immigrants, made a life for himself and his new family.
