We are both oppressed and an oppressor in this world. And this definitely has to stop! The Way enlightens us that we have to find a way to help humanity become more humane to each other and create a heaven on earth through non-inclusive principles. It’s all about respect—giving and receiving it. The book speaks of liberating one’s self from becoming a victim as well as freeing one’s self from becoming an oppressor. Being victimized by society’s laws or being oppressed by others who may be more powerful should not be a hinder to become “the bigger man.” We should be an inspiration for change and be a person who finds ways for a resolution than being a part of the problem.
