Del Kidd came upon the Constitution rather late in life. He had read books on the Constitution for many years; he assumed that those who made their living on this document could inform him of what was present in it. He had read the founding document with just a passing interest. However, after reading a number of authors one year, he came to the realization that most authors were just parroting the Supreme Courts decisions, and even his limited knowledge of the Constitution & the Declaration of Independence would lead him to a far different interpretation. Consequently, he started to explore the founding documents with much more rigor. He also delved into associated documents such as the Federalist Papers & the Magna Carta.
After this intense inspection of these other sources, he realized that the Founding Documents were far different from many of the supreme Court decisions, and that all branch of the federal government paid little or no attention to the contract that People had prepared on how the national government should function. The eroding of the Constitution's original intent commenced shortly after it was prepared. But it is now proceeding at near light speed. He believes that the unalienable & reserved Rights intended for People have been windowed down to a very few. The People are close to the same conditions as the Founders themselves when they declared their independence from the king of England. Serfdom may soon be the People's lot, again, with all its associated misery & pain. That is why he wrote this book.
