A Reminiscence of the Back Settlements

Short story by Mark Twain "A Reminiscence of the back settlements" describes situation of the moment when your friends or close people to you are getting buried. It is difficult to say what people can feel in these kinds of moments but it certainly clear that all of us will have to face with these moments one day. Probably some people may stay hard-hearted; others may pretend to be strong and unsusceptible. Anyway in this little story Mark Twain wanted to express all feelings and especially thoughts of that corpse and his own being the witness of this unhappy and sorrowful event.
