The Terrible Experience of Plodkins

Plodkins was a usual crosser on the Atlantic steamers. He was a businessperson who had a deal with commercial houses on both sides of the ocean; he sold in America for an English house and bought in England for an American establishment. He was the great seller, he was very skilled in trading. But in one morning I met him in the bathroom of the steamship. Firstly I thought that he was dead.
