Between Two Continents

In 1968, Cor Kavelaars left for Brazil to work on a mission in the Amazon. He was an agricultural consultant employed by the Brazilian government. Later, he accepted an invitation from the World Bank to work on an oil palm project in the Amazon. Together with his Brazilian wife, he started a travel agency. After 23 years in Brazil, he returned in the Netherlands in 1991.
