Sometimes the quickest choices made in life can have the most drastic consequences. A small group of ordinary people in 1930s Mendong are plunged into an intricate web of murder, deceit, and risk when a seventeen year old orphan named Mu Tahn becomes an ignorant pawn of mafia drug trafficking. Scorned by one of the Mendong Mafia's top leaders, she makes a quick decision to confide in a corrupt police department. Her actions endanger her own life and turn the world of private investigator Rhett Brody upside down.
