The Tinder-Box

The Tinder-Box is a wonderful fairy tale first published in 1835 by Hans Christian Andersen about a soldier who by help of a witch acquires a magic tinderbox capable of summoning three powerful dogs to do anything he wants. When the soldier falls in love with the King's daughter and gets in trouble, he cleverly calls the dogs to the rescue.
