Upala tells a sarcastically cynical story of passion and faking it. Upala is secretly obsessed with sex and all things provocative. She hopes being away at college will enable her to fully surrender to her compulsions and curiosities about intimacy. Upala's new life quickly shifts beyond her control as she is confronted with a series of compromising situations and imposing egos, leaving her to redefine what it means to truly be intimate. The story tells a psychological reality that passion may not all be about heavy breathing and getting tangled in the sheets.
