A Good Man's Miracle

It happened with Mr. Raikes who was passing through the street, which was inhabited by poor and ignorant people in London. Mr. Raikes while he walked along the street saw many things that made him sad, for there were so many sins and wretchedness on all sides, hopeless of doing any good, would have endeavored to forget the whole scene as soon as possible. There were many sick people who were suffered for food. It seemed that there were no angels of mercy at that street. The heart of Mr. Raikers was fulfilled with sorrow and compassion.
