GRUDGES

Frankie is a girl with a grudge and rightly so.


For after barely surviving an abortion attempt while still in the womb herself, she was to be deceived by the culture of death that promiscuity could be safe.


Now, pregnant at fifteen and out of school, dumped by the father of her baby and ostracized by the society and under intense pressure from the home front to abort the baby in order to correct contraceptive failures, she’d felt betrayed, betrayed by the same institutions that had encouraged safe sex and accepted promiscuity.


Now abandoned and forsaken but still at her wits’ end, she realized that the law and a vibrant culture of life was the only way to keep her baby.


But what chances has a penniless, fifteen year old against old, established warhorse like the almighty condom company and its surrogates? Is it merely another legal tussle or is the fact that condoms being inadequate different from data being inadequate? Only time can tell.
