The Quill is Mightier Than the Sword

Bob Burkett has pastored for more than 30 years. He taught severely behaviorally challenged young adults in public schools; a juvenile detention facility and a mental institution in five decades retiring in December 2014.


Bob and his wife Pearl have 4 sons and 6 grandchildren. Bob holds the following degrees: an Associate in Arts; both a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Arts; a Masters; and Educational Specialist.


Though this is Bob’s 1st book, he has penned hundreds of Gospel songs. His family singing group, Reflections of Praise, is a previously national “Favorite Mixed Gospel Group in America” winner.
