Sara Wahler is a private detective from Portland who gets caught up in a the case of a missing girl from Nehalem, a nearby small town. The mystery that surrounds the kidnapping pervades the very town itself. The longer she stays, the more involved she becomes, and the more she finds out about her own connection to the mystery that surrounds her. Can she find the little girl before the kidnapper gets away... again?
