Kara, Blake, and Wesley are American children who move to the jungles of Papua New Guinea with their missionary parents. They grow up in a tropical paradise where their nearest neighbors are a primitive tribe whose lifestyle has not changed in centuries. Every day is an exciting adventure growing up in this wild and exotic place.

The only transportation to and from their village is a small Cessna airplane that is based on the coast, an hour and a half away. There are no medical doctors, policemen or stores. The family trusts God and miracles happen where there might have been disasters.

The river near their home provides water fun, but an inner-tubing adventure nearly ends in tragedy when one of the children gets caught in a swirling eddy. When Kara and her mom help the tribal women harvest Sego Palm trees in the jungle, one of the children wanders off. A search party must find him before the wild animals do - dangerous ones such as wild boars and Cassowary birds roam the jungle.

Their native neighbors give the kids some unusual pets, from Spunky the wild Dingo dog to Beaker, a mischievous Hornbill bird. Also, the family must contend with a witch doctor who creates some serious problems, but in spite of his opposition, the children make friends with his children and introduce them to the Bible. The kids introduce soccer, pizza, and American movies to the tribe. The Bible says "the little children shall lead them" and these kids make a difference as they minister beside their parents.

If you love adventure and exploring new lands, Jungle Adventures will help you do so in the luxury of your own home. There are more stories and miracles waiting for you!
