Would you put on your Black Robe and sentence them to an eternity of shame and punishment?

What would you do -- If You Were God -- and Gerry came to your door after a life of "trying to be a Christian?" Would you pat him on the back for fulfilling his religious duties? If I was God, I think I know what I would do.
