Unfailing Love

I LOVE the biblical Psalms! The poetry, music, and reminders of God's love, have comforted and been an inspiration for me through this journey called life. This book is the second book in the "Psalms in the Key of my Life" series; a collection of reflections on the biblical Psalms. This project began as a journal. As I read through the book of Psalms, I found myself unable to relate to some of them. My goal was to personalize all 150 psalms. As I began to share my reflections with others, I was encouraged to publish them, in the hopes that others too would find them inspirational. The first book, "Psalms in the Key of my Life", includes reflections for Psalms 1-50. This, the second volume, includes reflections for Psalms 51-100. As a former teacher of low income inner-city students, my perspective my differ from yours, but the message that God is there for each person to help them through whatever difficulties they may face is universal.

Desert Experience! This book was much more difficult to write than the first one. I almost felt like I too was trying to find my way out of the desert. There were several points where I wanted to abandon the project. Each time I got stuck, I began to meditate in the silence and God gave me exactly what I needed for that particular Psalm reflection. Sometimes it was something on the news, sometimes it was a historic day (like Sept. 11), sometimes it was someone who was near me as I traveled. The inspiration varied, but God's support was always there. His unfailing love brought me through this difficult journey as it has so many other times in my life. My God use my words to bless you in some way.
