Boko Haram Chibok Girls And All Matters Nigeria Security

Boko Haram is 'Nigerian Taliban' operating in North-East, Nigeria since 2002. After being cracked down on and proscribed in 2009, the sect reconstituted itself and turned violent, very violent. On the night of April, 2014, Boko Haram fundamentalists invaded Government Girls Secondary School at Chibok in Bornu State and kidnapped 276 school girls from their dormitories. The world responded with a #BringBackOurGirls campaign as world powers came to Nigeria's help in search and rescue matters.
A year later, the girls remain missing even though they are presumed alive. This book looks at this abduction incident and the larger issue of Boko Haram Insurgency in Nigeria
