A Capitalist

'A Capitalist' is a short story by George Gissing first published as a part of a collection book 'The House Of Cobwebs and Other Stories' in 1906. The narrator of the story remains unnamed and he tells about a strange man he meets in a little club, Ireton. The man seems interesting to him and one day they have a stroll together. Then they get lost and meet a man who tells them in an unpleasant voice that they have trespassed his territory. They go away, but the next day Ireton seems to have found out the reasons the man was rude to them...
