If You Could See What I See

Someone once asked," Has the message of Jesus been thwarted more, by the world or the church?" I grew up in a church that I could not wait to run out of every Sunday. But the time that I grew up in, a lot of churches were like that. But I'm not the only one that has gone through this. People have suffered for years of wrong teachings that date back to Jesus' time, and still are around today. People have died and suffered needlessly, when they followed people's teachings and not Jesus's. Matthew 23:1 Then Jesus said to the crowds and to his disciples: " The teachers of the law and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat. So you must obey them and do everything they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach. They tie up heavy loads and put them on men's shoulders, but they themselves are not willing to lift a finger to move them." This is why we need to read the Bible and seek to understand what Jesus was trying to teach for ourselves. " All men should strive to learn before they die, what they are running from and why."
