The Priest & The Princess: Part Two: The Assignment

Ryker realizes that his meeting with Tiara has forever blurred the distinction between work, and the affairs of the heart, and when she insists on taking her children away from her husband in a final act of defiance, Ryker decides to aid and abet her - a wrong move. A navy seal that went to seminary school, Ryker has to make use of all his talents and abilities in counterinsurgency if he is to keep his new love interest alive. This story is a continuation of "Heart and Soul," the first in the Series of "The Priest and the Princess." A coin shows up from a long-sunken Spanish Armada destined for Queen Isabella, but the crew and the cargo got sent to a watery grave. The reappearance of the coin sets of an international adventure with some unsavory characters appearing into the mix. There are only clues at the moment, but the money starts to flow, and with it the sharks start circling. Ryker gets a mysterious package, a hand-made gold-beaked mask and an oil-stained invitation for a Masquerade Ball in Monaco, two weeks hence. Ryker decides to throw caution to the wind and go. Who wants him there, and why, and what is Tiara's involvement in all this?
