A SECOND CHANCE

A SECOND CHANCE is about Rae Elliott, a young mid-western girl, in the late 1950's who was thrust into the position of being head of the household after her mother left to seek a better life. Rae then started experiencing symptoms of a mysterious illness and learns she must leave home to search for a cure. She supports herself on the road by shooting pool which she learned from her grandfather.

It is a story of believing and never giving up, unexpected surprises, loving and losing, restoration and joy. This book speaks to the twists and turns in our lives as we go forth.
