I wrote "Your Eyes Can't See My Heart" because I am an attorney. However, before I became an attorney I was a prosecutor, before that, I was a married "single mother" with seven children and a spouse who lived in Jamaica, West Indies. In fact, while I was attending law School, I survived on public assistance (welfare). When I finally finished law school, I married Jermaine T. Thomas and had two more children with him – apparently my life wasn't complicated enough.

I believe without question that my past lives make me uniquely qualified to speak about all things emotional. I am absolutely qualified to lead the conversation on matters of the heart and I find that there is an urgent need to have this conversation. You may find this boastful, but I assure you that my statement is absolutely valid.
