The Improvisatore

The main hero of the tale was an improvisator who could compose poems by extemporization. It was quite an autobiographical story. The author compared the story of the main hero with his own life. However, the similarity of attitude did not mean an identity of destinies. The life story of Italian Antonio, who lost his mother and gained their rich and noble patron, has little to do with the fate of almost beggar Dane, fourteen went to conquer Copenhagen.
