Copper Penny Ranch: Double Homicide, Lt. Joe Novelli, Homicide 14 Based On a True Story

On March 03, 1983 farm manager Jerry Illingworth stumbled upon a gruesome scene, a double homicide that included his niece, Joyce. Both victims appeared to have been shot in the head, Joyce was shot beyond recognition. Identified only through the use of dental records. There were two theories, one that it was drug related, since the farm had been used for trafficking drugs. The second was that Sheila Holding had murdered both her estranged husband Neal and his girlfriend Joyce Brilbeck. Thirty-one years later the case had yet to be solved.
