Camping as a Contact Sport

This book chronicles the camping experiences of my family and me over a period of 40 years beginning in 1969. I have called our camping a contact sport to signify the multitude of contacts we made with each other and with the people and places we would never have encountered and experienced otherwise. Our experiences have given us many happy memories and have helped our family to become an enduring, caring. and loving unit. I hope that my account will succeed in conveying to you not only what we saw and did but also the lasting satisfaction that w achieved.
