A book of poems about loneliness, longing and sex. There are real ex-girlfriends, girls sunbathing on the beach and girls on film. Also, there are poems about old age and wishing you were young. As well, there are poems imagining lonely old age or a successfully lived life. The poet imagined the people and situations in these poems whilst still in the flush of youth and reviewing them a half-decade or more later he could have written no better today even having had some of these experiences. The book is an excellent and successfully-written collection of poems.
