She had been sick for many years, but she was also an outcast. She was afraid, but she was also determined. The woman who had spent all her money on doctors in the hopes of being healed of a debilitating infirmity came to Jesus that day with only her faith, her belief that if anyone could change her life, it was Him.

This fictionalized account is based on the true story of the woman with the issue of blood that lasted twelve long and desperate years, as told in the gospel of Mark, who came to Jesus seeking a miracle and found much more. Please note that this work is a short story.
