Summer Breeze

The summer sunshine. An amusement park. An all-too-serious child and her whimsical father.

Sundays were always my favorite day as a kid because that was when my dad made the trek across the state to see me. I lost him much too young, but he left me with memories like that Sunday in Lincoln Park back in 1979. Skee Ball, that old wooden roller coaster, and the summer breeze, making memories to last my lifetime.
