Lisa is a triathlete struggling to attain the fitness she needs for her sport. Persuaded to undergo an intense training program on a remote island, she is shocked to find that the “training” involves rowing, being treated little better than a galley slave, subjected to harsh discipline, and any lapse punished by being chained and whipped – and worse.

Even worse still are the rumours of what happens on the other side of the island, and the fate that may befall the young women who are unwilling – or unable – to submit to the ruthless regime.
