Checkpoint Charlie

Following a business trip to Leipzig, East Germany, which resulted in a problem at Checkpoint Charlie, an Englishman is stunned to learn that he is being treated by the KGB as a person of interest in the defection of a KGB colonel. He is the same officer who helped him to return to West Berlin! The authorities in London advise that most likely it is the Soviets playing 'mind games' in the hope the whereabouts of the defector will be revealed but it may be more sinister than that! The story is set against the backdrop of the intrigues of the international wool trade.
