Ha Long Bay

Water gently lap against the boats wooden hull as you slowly make your way past ancient limestone karts. Faintly you can hear the battle cries of famous victory battles fought in the bay in olden times. Gasping you look around. Was that the sound of dragon wings flapping? This is the bay of descending dragons after all.

Soon you come to one of the many floating villages in the bay, where you get the chance to mingle with local villagers, or even taken a canoe out and inspect the formations up close. Or even cool off with a quick swim. Soon, you meet back at your boat, to make your way to one of a few caves found nearby. For those wanting to stay longer, you can arrange to overnight of a boat, or in one of the hotels found on some of the larger islands.
