Omaha Stakes: A Motel Wrestler Short Story

"I am eagerly anticipating the arrival of Sgt. Knobbs from the nearby Air Force base. This man is a no nonsense career guy that likes to pit himself, man to man, against any and all comers to the Omaha area. He is 5-10, 190 lbs. of top grade U.S. beef trained to incapacitate and overcome any opponent. As a native Nebraskan, he also has an extensive background in amateur style wrestling. Thankfully for me, tonight will not be about killing and maiming. But it will be about overwhelm and conquer with the winner being determined only by a submission of, “I quit!”
